Don't you feel good when there's always a someone out there who never fails to extend his/her hand toy ou when youre helpless?

Don't you feel good when someone calls your name and tells you how happy they are when theyre with you?






Don't you feel good too, when you are able to share everything you know with someone, either good or bad?






Don't you feel good when you're laughing away, you know, if youre sad, that same someone will always be there to comfort you?






Don't you feel good when there's a question in facebook asking "who do you trust most?" or etc and that person types your name?

I dont know if every one of us feels the same about this. according to what people say, girls are usually more sensitive over these kinda things. but i believe, to a certain extent, guys too.




you know those kinda keychains, where they have your bdae on it and at the back they tell you the characteristic of a person who is born on that day?

and when a friend of mine who didnt really know me at that time saw this, he said

"haiyah! this is not jasmine lah. she where got like this"

haha.

anyway, i really think friends are important. many people believe that socialising and making friends and hanging out with friends isnt important - its not important at all. while others, think that socialising and etc are everything.

sometimes its not just about having fun. its about feeling the satisfaction. its about knowing that people appreciate and love you for who you are.






and if you realise it, that itself, boosts one's confidence, and thus, making him a better person in future.






even sometimes, if you think a friend isnt of good influence, but you really really really enjoy being with that someone, its actually okay :) to me lah. hahaa. just try to know your limits :D






i was having this conversation with a friend, who i realised does not have much confidence about himself. which is understandable, of course! i mean, EVERYONE goes through that point of life. I don't think anyone has not. haha.


he thinks very lowly of himself, even though through what i see, there's actually many people who care for him. Ive gone through that period of life too, and we tend to overlook that point and instead, focus on our limitations and weaknesses.







no matter how bad a person is, how stupid, how ugly, how bad or evil someone is, i believe there's a beautiful side of everybody. its just how you look at things.


so, my friend ( you know who you are! :D ) be OPTIMISTIC! and i'll always be there for you.

i still lack confidence, lack optimism. no matter how much people say im good, i still think im lacking something somewhere. and i know why, its because im trying to think like that. not on purpose, of course. but if i just change my thinking, i realise, i'll be happier :)

its thursday today. but its still holidays and its still chinese new year :) so, enjoy while you can people. hehe. i know some of you are having exams next week, so i wish you guys all the best :D i doubt youll see this anyway. haha

i had a good new year. lots of food. and i mean LOTS OF FOOD.

okay let me think. i had my reunion dinner on saturday. food cooked by my ahma! and it was as delicciooousssss as always! but not as noisy and merry like last time, but it was still kinda fun.

hahahahaa. most of my cousins are off overseas! and my uncle and auntie went to join them in manchester.

but anyway, living in the Gan family would always mean food that is sufficient and even, more than enough. good food :) hehe

okay. so anyway, on sunday night, it was also good food :)

and so was monday night - thistle's new chinese restaurant!

and so was teusday night! - long beach, fantastic!

and so was today.

hahahahaha my post is all about food. but thats whad chinese new year is all about :)
